Final release of the year by Pittsburgh/DC-based hip hop producer HobbesDuende. This short 5 track EP is a concept album consisting of brief instrumental tracks based around thick snappy drum patterns and smooth chopped up samples drawn exclusively from 50s/60s east coast doo wop music. Throughout the progression of the tape, each track blends the sentimental, old school vibe of the doo wop samples into the more modern sound and layout of hip hop music.
