About a year in the works, I’m happy as fuck to finally release what is both sonically and structurally my most ambitious instrumental project yet. The title of the project is “And That Concludes This Week’s Episode…”

Unlike a conventional tape, the release structure of this project is gonna be at a pace of 1 beat per week (18 beats=18 weeks). This TV show-esque release structure lets me bounce around between different styles more freely, similarly to how the episodes of a TV show maintain mostly the same characters and other broad similarities, but don’t always have a concrete progression from one episode to the next. So yeah that’s where the title, cover art, and general concept of this tape comes from. Stylistically, the tape has some gritty boom bap with heavy, menacing drums, some upbeat jazzy shit with the smoothest samples I could find, and some joints that are way different than anything I’ve ever put out. I did arrange the order of the tracks (or episodes) deliberately, but once it’s all out, it really does not matter what order you listen to it in.

Peace to the homies in FK and anyone else who got an advanced listen and gave feedback along the way. The god Mikhail Hardy aka MikMakRaw aka KiLaMDaPro’s uncle did the cover art and it’s clearly very dope, so pay him to do yours too.
